Shannon Brook Farm is 127 acres of carefully managed, certified organic pastures and woods; grazing sheep and cattle, free-ranging laying hens, broiler chickens, pekin ducks and pastured hogs interwoven with the landscape and protected by a team of livestock guardian dogs.

Food is the primary relationship we have with each other, with the land, and with animals.

Farming Practices

Intensive rotational grazing is the backbone of our farm management system.  The pastures benefit from increased organic matter, microbes and earthworms while providing the poultry and livestock with clean pastures without the use of pesticides, herbicides or fungicides.  Our multi-spcies grazing plan keeps the land fertile and the animals healthy.
